Hole In One
Charles C. Griffiths
Elevated green with pin position near the back of the green. Sweet strike off the tee with a 4 iron, not to high and straight between the two bunkers guarding the front of the green. Pleased with the shot and happy to be on the green. One of my playing partners remarked that he thought it might be a hole in one but the elevated green hid the final resting place of the ball. Approaching the green the ball could not be seen and it was only confirmed as a hole in one when we reached the pin.
