Hole In One
I remember Standing on the lofted Tee & noticing there was quite a strong cross breeze. I selected a 7 Iron , the green has a ditch running across the front of it , & the pin was fairly central. I hit a clean strike, & watched the flight of the ball , contented that it would land safely on the green. It landed 10 foot in front of the pin, & it's no exaggeration to say it seemed to roll in slow motion towards the pin , and then drop! It was disbelief at first , then total euphoria! It was third time lucky for this year as twice I have struck the pin before, but it is something I never thought would happen for me.
