Hole In One
Neil Gareth Baines
It was a high 7 iron, the hole was on the front of the green. We saw the ball bounce, just on the green, in line with the flag, but then lost sight of it. We thought that it had gone past and was being obscured by the flagstick. We only realised it was a hole in one when we saw it sat in the cup. I have been a member since I was 12, and it’s taken 45 years of trying, before I finally got an ace on my home course. A never to be forgotten moment!!
