Hole In One
Arrived at the club at 7.10 in the morning. Did my normal routine warm up of hitting a couple of balls in the net and had a few putts. It was a cold dark morning. There were ten of us in our group that morning and we play in two balls. The group is called the Big Boy London Club or BBLC. We drew cards for partners and I was drawn out in the second group. The first hole is a par 5 and my partner and I both made fives. On the second hole my partner had the honour and pulled is shot left into the bushes that surround the Par 3. I took out my faithful old Any-Lie 5 wood-iron. I hit a good feeling shot that I new would land on the green. I bent down to pick up my tee. My Partner said that the shot looked pretty close. We searched for my partners ball and found it in the bushes. I then walked onto the green and saw this large pitch mark about 3cm from the pin. My playing partner and I walked to the hole and there was my ball in the hole. A few high fives and hand shakes later and waves to the group behind we moved onto the next hole. That was my second hole in one the first being several years ago when I had a hole in one on the 18 to shoot 64 and equal the course record which still stands today. The rest of the round was pretty uneventful scoring an average 33 points.
